David Imielski
David R. Imielski is an associate of the law firm of Marquardt & Belmonte. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Illinois University and a Juris Doctorate from DePaul University.
Mr. Imielski is an experienced trial attorney with over 11 years of courtroom experience. Throughout his career, he has taken well over 100 cases to verdict and has a proven track record of being an effective advocate. He is a former Assistant State's Attorney for DuPage County whose assignments included the prosecution of traffic, DUI, misdemeanor, felony, narcotics, and sex crimes. Due to his assignment in a DUI prosecutions courtroom, Mr. Imielski is well versed in all aspects of DUI defense. Mr. Imielski was also assigned to the major crimes unit of the felony division where he prosecuted cases involving narcotics divisions and domestic violence and child abuse which included prosecuting cases that dealt with extreme physical and sexual abuse of children.
Throughout his career, Mr. Imielski has proven to be a skilled negotiator and a zealous advocate for his clients both in and out of the courtroom. He is an attorney that is capable of handling any sort of criminal matter, including complex litigation and the defense and presentation of expert witnesses.
